Garnier Fructis Oil-In-Cream Review

Bonjour Amis!!!

Do you remember those days when your mother used to put lot of oil in your hair and then braid them tightly before going to school. There is no such girl in the world who loves to go to the school in this manner (As Mr or Miss Chipchip). But not much can be done for it as everyone knows that is very important to do that.

But not now, as Garnier Fructis Oil-In-Cream is here. This cream consist not only one but properties of three different oils. Here is my complete review about it.

Product Claims: The new generation of hair oil is a cream.

• Now get twice the nourishment* of hair oils in a non-sticky cream format
• Nourishes and hair feels stronger
• Zero stickiness and mess
• Pleasant long lasting fragrance
• Formula enriched with Coconut, Olive & Almond Oils

Price: 60 Rs

Wt: 100 gm

Shelf life: 36 months or 3 years.

Online availability: It is available in various stores like Purpelle and Nykaa.

Direction of use:

Simple! Use it just like a hair oil.

Before Wash: Massage into hair and scalp for 1 to 2 minutes. Oil in cream intensely nourishes your hair and transforms it.

After Wash: Wash your hair with Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Shampoo and Conditioner or any other shampoo or conditioner. Use on hair lengths for easy manageability and styling.

Overnight: Massage into hair and scalp for 1 to 2 minutes and leave overnight. Wash away with Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Shampoo and Conditioner or any other shampoo & conditioner for intense nourishment.

Packaging: The hair cream comes in a yellow color squeeze tube which has a same color flip cap. The packaging is so bright that it stands out among all other products in the cosmetic shelf of the supermarket. The cap is quite tight so there is no scope for the product to leak or spill. So over all packaging is very sturdy and travel friendly.

My opinion about product: This cream is white in color and very creamy in texture. I always apply it after washing my hair. It has a pleasant smell, unlike oil it is non-sticky and non-greasy. So after it’s application your hair doesn’t look oily or greasy. The best feature of this cream is it’s very light weight, after I’s application you won’t feel that you have applied anything.

This product is a very innovative one which saves you from oily (chipchip) look. You have to use it like regular oil but on contrary you will notice that it will make your dry & frizzy hair manageable. One more feature I have noticed is that it reduces hair fall also.

So overall, it’s a unique and innovative product especially for those (girls & boys) who hate to oil their hair.

What I like about this product….

1. Contains goodness of three hair oils in one cream.
2. Easily available in local and online markets.
3. Travel friendly packaging.
4. Economical.
5. Nice fragrance.
6. Manages frizzy hair.
7. Makes hair soft and soft.
8. Innovative product.
9. Light weight & non sticky cream.

What I do not like about this product….

1. Contains alcohols and other chemicals.
2. Still have a doubt on the long term effects of this cream.
3. Heavy amount of cream is required to cover my long hair. I find it more suitable for short-medium length hair.

    1. Do not forget to share your experience Arpita..

  3. I've tried this, but you know, I feel it makes my hair more frizzy and rough...

    1. Same product can have different reactions or behavior depending upon person to person..

  4. i totally loved it. makes my hair soft and smooth!

    1. I know you are in love with this product Megha :)

  5. I experience no relaxed scalp after its application as I do after a normal head massage.I am doubtful if it can be a substitute of traditional hair oil .or it needs to be more hydrating. What's the fun wen oil is not oily ;) though I liked its fragrance.

    1. Oh yes it has lovely fragrance :) I also think that it will be bit difficult for it to be a substitute of traditional hair oil.. But you never know when trend will change :)
