Garnier Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel Cream For Dry and Normal/Combination Skin Review

Hello Cuties!!!

In monsoon one can easily see lots of sale offers here and there, everybody is offering extra. I also decided to do a monsoon post offering something more, so I decided to review two products in one post (Buy one get one free.. Lol). In this post I am going to review Garnier Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel Cream For Dry and Garnier Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel Cream For Normal/Combo Skin.

Product Claims:

· Intensely locks-in moisture and soothes dry skin for 24-hours.
· 2x more moisturizing agents than moisture rescue refreshing gel-cream for normal skin.
· Dermatologist tested for safety.

Price: 999 Rs

Wt: 1.7 oz

Online availability: Amazon, Ebay, Flipkart etc.

Direction of use: Gently apply Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream on face and neck every morning and night to face.

Packaging: Both the gel comes in a clear glass tub/jar with white color screw cab. It is their traditional packaging. Both the jars look very beautiful due to the color of the gel filled inside it. Packaging is travel friendly and you can easily carry it in your bag.

My opinion about product: As the name itself gives idea, both the products have a gel like consistency. Garnier Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel Cream For Dry skin is light pink in color, whereas Garnier Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel Cream For Normal/Combo skin is light green in color. I absolutely love both the colors. The gel disappears as soon as it touches your skin, and it has a light floral smell to it. I personally like this smell but it may bother people with sensitive nose like my mum. The good news about the smell is that it also disappears fairly quickly. This gel doesn’t irritate my skin and also doesn’t break me out at all.

During application you have to pat it and it sinks into your skin in few seconds. The result you will get is soft, smooth and fresh skin. It doesn’t make your skin oily and greasy at all. The gel is so lightweight that you will feel like that you are not wearing anything on your face. I feel so refreshed just applying it to my hand, let alone my face (Ha ha ha)..

I don’t have much complains with this product as it doesn’t claims more but the only problem is with Garnier Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel Cream For Dry skin as I don’t find it’s moisturizing property effective for dry skin.

What I like about this product….

1. Easily gets absorbed in skin.
2. Moisturizes well. (In case of normal to combination skin)
3. Travel friendly packaging.
4. Makes skin soft, smooth and refresh.
5. Doesn’t irritate skin.
6. Has a nice floral fragrance.
7. Gives a cooling sensation on application.
8. Doesn’t leave any greasy effect.

What I do not like about this product….

1. Gel meant for dry skin is not much effective.
2. A bit expensive.
3. It is difficult to find in local Indian market.

ZZM Rating: ♥♥ 4/5 ♥♥
