My Acne Diary: Ayur Herbal Skin Toner/Astringent with Aloe Vera Review

Hello cuties!!!

During school and college days, I used to have limited beauty products. Ayur Herbal Skin Toner/ Astringent was one of the must have products for me in those days. As in teenager days my pimples problem was severe and astringent was one of the products which used to give relief to me. I am not using this product these days but decided to review it on blog to help those (especially teenagers) who always remain in search of budget friendly astringent.

Ingredients:

Price: Rs 40

Wt: 100 ml

Online availability: www.amazon.in

Shelf life: 36 months or 3 years

Skin Type: All skin types

Directions for use: Never rub on the skin, always pat it with a cotton wool.

Packaging: The astringent comes in a white see through bottle with a pink screw cap. Which allows you to see the amount of product left. You need to pierce the tight shut lid inside to use the product, I do it with the help of safety pin. Overall packaging is very simple there is nothing to rave about it.

My opinion about this product: The toner is pink in color and thereby giving the appearance of a pink bottle. It has a very strong fragrance which I don’t like at all. I used to apply it on my face and neck with the help of cotton. Oh gosh! I still remember the burning sensation; it used to give on my pimples. It felt like I was stung several times at one moment on my face.

But I still used to apply it because it was useful in reducing the pimples to a certain extent. I especially used to apply it whenever I returned to my home from outside. It successfully cleanses all the dirt and traces from the face. But due to a strong burning sensation it used to leave my face red.

Now a days, I am not using it anymore because of two reasons, first being that now I don’t face similar severe problem of pimples and secondly my pocket allows me to buy product with a higher range and quality. So if you can bear strong burning sensation than do go for it otherwise it is better to skip it.

What I like about this product….

1. Effectively removes traces of dirt and oil.
2. Economical.
3. Easily available in local stores.
4. Keeps skin oil free for around 3 to 4 hours.

What I do not like about this product…..

1. Very strong fragrance.
2. Contains paraben.
3. Strong burning sensation.

ZZM Rating: ♥♥ 2.5/5 ♥♥
