Elle-18 Color Pops Matte Rust Rage Review

Hello Pretties!!!

I am back with the review of one more lipstick from Elle-18 “Matte Range” 😘. There are total 20 shades in this range and now I own 5 of them. I hope soon I will have all of them in my collection but unfortunately finding all the shades in local market is really a tough job and if you plan to order it online then you have to pay shipping charges around 60 to 70 Rs 😵.

Ingredients: Nothing mentioned.

Price: Rs 100

Wt: 4.3 gm

Online availability: www.amazon.com

Shelf life: 24 months or 2 years

Packaging: This lipstick comes in a sleek black casing with a girl printed over it. The sticker of white color at the bottom displays the shade number and name. This small sized cutie easily slips in my purse or clutch. Overall packaging is cute and sturdy enough. There is nothing extra-ordinary about the packaging & at the same time there is nothing to complain about it.

My opinion about this product:
It is a gorgeous rusty shade with a bit of maroon & orange tints. On fair skin tone it looks more of maroonish shade. It is a kind of party wear shade which looks beautiful on Indian skin tones. Brand says it is “Matte” but it is not a matte lipstick completely. It has more of creamy matte texture. It doesn’t have moisturizing core but still keeps your lips well moisturized. It is decently pigmented and 2 or 3 swipes are required for opaque coverage. It even hides pigmented lips.

Like the rest shades of this range it also has an average staying power of 2 or 3 hours. As it is a darker shade, it leaves some tint on the lips while it fades which does not look bad at all.. It does transfer and is not able to survive heavy meals. Taking it off is so simple and you do not need any makeup remover. No doubt we can’t expect qualities of a Mac lipstick from a 100 Rs lipstick. Keeping in mind price as prime factor Elle-18 lipstick are amazing and you should definitely give them a try ,especially this shade.

What I like about this product….

1. Soft and smooth texture.
2. Huge range of shades.
3. Glides smoothly on lips.
4. Economical.
5. Very moisturizing.
6. Cute and travel friendly packaging.

What I do not like about this product…..

1. Low staying power.
2. Very difficult to find in local market. Especially if you are looking for specific shade.

ZZM Rating: ♥♥ 4/5♥♥
